1. ប្រកាន់ ( កិ.កិរិយាសព្ទ )
   ចាប់​ដំណើរ, ចាប់​ហេតុ, ចាប់​ថ្នាក់, ចោទ​ចំពោះ​រឿង : ប្រកាន់​ទោស ។ នាវ​ទុក : ស្រូវ​១​ជង្រុក​នុ៎ះ ខ្ញុំ​លក់​ជូន​អ្នក​មិន​បាន​ទេ ព្រោះ​មាន​គេ​ប្រកាន់​រួច​ទៅ​ហើយ ។ កាន់​ខ្ជាប់​តាម​គាប់​ចិត្ត, តាម​ទម្លាប់ : ប្រកាន់​ទិដ្ឋិ, ប្រកាន់​ពួក ។
   

1. ប្រកាន់ ( v ) [prɑkan]
   to hold to (esp. an ideology or theory), adhere to, uphold, maintain (some opinion in a discussion); to clutch at, cling to (something); to persist in, insist on; to object to.
   
2. ប្រកាន់ ( adj ) [prɑkan]
   to be particular, hard to please; to be prejudiced; to be offended, take offense easily, be very sensitive; to be conceited; to be conservative, reserved; to be obstinate
   Eg. ព្រោះនៅក្នុងសកលលោកនេះ គេមិនដែលប្រទះឃើញមានប្រទេសណាមួយដែលប្រកាន់របបកុម្មុយនិស្ត​ ហើយមានបក្សកុម្មុយនិស្តដល់ទៅពីរ: Because in this world, one never encounters any country which has embraced communism that has two communist parties ​::
