    ដាក់​ដែក​ក្ដៅ​ប្រមៀល​ស្រាល​ៗ​ពី​លើ : អាល​ដំបៅ​លេច ។ អ៊ុត​ស្លឹក​ម្លូ​ស្រស់​ដោយ​កញ្ចប់​ដី​ខ្សាច់​ក្ដៅ ឲ្យ​ស្លោក​ក្រៀម សម្រាប់​ទុក​ប្រើ​ការ​បាន​យូរ : អាល​ស្លឹក​ម្លូ ។
    - ម្លូ​អាល ស្លឹក​ម្លូ​ដែល​ក្រៀម​ដោយ​អាល (មើល​ក្នុង​ពាក្យ រោល ១ កិ. និង អុជ ផង) ។

    1. កុំទាន់អាលអរ [kom toan ʔaal ʔɑɑ] : do not count one's chickens yet, not to be off the hook yet, not to be out of the woods yet
      Eg. គាត់បានឲ្យដឹង​ថា​​អ្នកដែលបានទៅពិនិត្យ ឈាមរួចហើយ​ មិនមានឃើញមេរោគ​អេដស៍នៅក្នុងខ្លួននោះកុំទាន់អាលអរ: He stated that the fact that the people who went out to give the blood tests did not find the AIDS virus does not mean that they're off the hook yet.
    2. នាំអុចនាំអាល [noam ʔoc noam ʔaal] : to inflame, excite, incite, provoke (e.g. trouble, a fight)
    3. នឹងអាល [nɨŋ ʔaal] : and then, so one can, in order that, only then (can one...) (This word is equivalent to ដើម្បី but it has the added connotation of doing something in haste)
      Eg. យើងរៀនឲ្យចប់ នឹងអាលដើរលេង​បន្តិច​: We'll finish studying, then we'll take a walk.
    4. រោលអាល [rool ʔaal] : to burn, sting; to be very painful; to irritate, disturb, trouble; to excite
    5. អាលស្លឹកម្លូ [ʔaal slǝk mluu] : to press betel leaves with a hot iron (in order to dry and preserve them)
    6. អុចអាល [ʔoc ʔaal] : to inflame, excite, provoke, irritate, annoy, vex, tease; to be inflammatory, provocative; exciting
    7. អាលបង្ខំ [ʔaal bɑŋkʰɑm] : to hurry, urge on
