1. បញ្ជាន់ ( v ) [bɑɲcoan]
   to trample; to make buffaloes / cattle walk on the grain stalks in order to thresh them, cause to tread on

   to cause / encourage (a spirit) to enter (the body of) a medium
   
1. បញ្ជាន់ត្រិស្ត [bɑɲcoan -----] : royal ceremony held on the 14th night of the waning moon of the month of ផល្គុន (During this ceremony monks are invited to pray, cannons are fired in the four cardinal directions, and elephants are ridden around to chase away evil spirits)
   
2. បញ្ជាន់មេ [bɑɲcoan mee] : to mate (of a male bird)
   
3. បញ្ជាន់ស្រូវ [bɑɲcoan srǝv] : to thresh rice by laying it out on the threshing floor and letting cattle / water buffalo walk over it or driving a small tractor over it
