    Eg. មានជំងឺជាច្រើនដែលបានកបជាមួយការព្យាបាលដោយម្ជុលវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ: There are many diseases that can be cured by acupuncture.

    to possess.
  3. កប ( adj ) [kɑɑp]
    to be endowed with, be in essence

    1. ជើងកប [cəəŋ kɑɑp] : site of a disaster / catastrophe, crash site; spot esp. along a river or stream where someone was drowned (these places are much feared); aura of danger surrounding some spot; to be (very) dangerous (describing places where accidents frequently happen)
      Eg. មាត់ទ្វារកំពតជើងកបណាស់​ មានភ្លូកឡានរៀងរាល់ឆ្នាំ: The entrance to Kampot is very dangerous; there are automobile accidents there every year.
    2. ថ្ងៃកប [tŋay kɑɑp] : successful / lucky / good day
    3. ថ្នាំកប [tnam kɑɑp] : effective medicine
    4. នៅកប [nɨv kɑɑp] : to be in clover, live a comfortable life
