   final particle marking an emphatic clause that is in contrast to whatever clause precedes it
   Eg. ខ្ញុំមិនបានបកប្រែឃ្លានោះទេគឺ​លោក​ទេតើ​!: I didn't translate that sentence; you were the one who did!
2. ទេតើ [tee taə]
   instead / rather (indicates that the statement is incorrect or other than one would expect)
   Eg. អ្នកដែលធ្វើម្ហូបនោះមិនមែនខ្ញុំទេ គឺម្តាយខ្ញុំទេតើជាអ្នកធ្វើ: The one who prepared that food was not me, rather it was my mother who did it.
