1. ងាប់ ( v ) [ŋoap]
   to die (of animals or, crudely, of people); to stop, cease functioning / break down (of a machine).

   to be dead; paralyzed, inoperative
   
3. ងាប់ ( v ) [ŋoap]
   to dry up / wither (of plants); to be extinguished (of emotions)
   
1. កំបោរងាប់ [kɑmbao ŋoap] : slaked lime
   
2. ក្រជិតងាប់ [krɑɑ cɨt ŋoap] : to be destitute (lit. 'to be nearly dead of poverty')

13. លុយងាប់ [luy ŋoap] : money hidden away and not earning any interest
    
14. សឹងងាប់ [sǝŋ ŋoap] : extremely, really
    Eg. ភ័យអី លោករត់លឿនសឹងងាប់​!: What are (you) afraid of? You (can) run really fast!
15. សើចងាប់ [saǝc ŋoap] : to laugh heartily
